Eyebrow threading
I have really thick eyebrows (I call them man-brows) and they tend to grow out really fast, which I hate. I found a lady that threads eyebrows and boy is she good at shaping them, I was really impressed by how good they looked when she was done. The only thing I don't like is the pain that comes with threading, I kept sinking into my chair when she was busy threading them.I guess I will have to bear the pain if I want beautiful eyebrows.

Yoga and brunch event
I love hosting and entertaining. Two years ago I hosted two Bohemian-inspired dinner parties but due to my hectic work schedule I stopped hosting for a full 2 years. I have been itching to host again, so this year I decided to host a yoga and brunch event and it was really amazing. We had a 1 hour guided yoga session with my awesome yoga instructor, Marleen and then we had brunch after the yoga session. The main purpose of this event was to introduce my family and friends to yoga and allow them to experience the beauty of it. I am planning on hosting another yoga and brunch event in summer and I am planning on hosting a Bohemian-inspired dinner party again. I have so much planned for this year and it's quite exciting I love trying out new things and challenging myself.

Wheel pose
Urdhva Dhanurasana also known as wheel pose (chakrasana) is an advanced backbend that offers many benefits to the body, mind and spirit. The wheel pose is my favourite pose because I hardly struggle to go into this position and getting out of it is quite easy for me. When I was as young as 7 I could bend my back into a wheel-pose ( I just didn't know I was doing yoga). My body has always been flexible and I used to think I would not be able to bend my body like this as I grew older but lo and behold I still have it lol. Please do not attempt any advanced poses without the guidance of a professional yoga instructor.
Here are a few benefits of the wheel pose:
*Stretches the chest and lungs.
*Strengthens the arms, wrists, legs, abdomen and spine.
*Stimulates the thyroid.
*Wheel pose strengthens and lengthens the vertebrae which increases elasticity and flexibility of the spine.
* Wheel pose loosens tight hips, hence, increased hip flexibility.
*It is said that the wheel pose ignites all seven of the chakras keeping all the processes of the body in harmony with each other.

Final wedding gown fitting

Last week we had our second wedding gown fitting at House of JM Designs and we normally bring out the champagne when we do the final wedding gown fitting for the bride-to-be. I must admit I love arranging the champagne display table for our final fittings, I really enjoy decorating, organising things neatly and just adding a beautiful touch to a room or a table. I will post pictures of the wedding gowns once we have received them.
