This is another dress that we made for the Mr/Miss Vaal pageant, it was for Miss Vaal 2016. The theme is old Hollywood glam, we wanted to create something more mature and sophisticated for her but we also wanted the design to exude a bit of sexiness so we made it an off-shoulder dress with see-through mesh . The silver strips also added a bit of detail to the dress, just enough to break off the navy a bit. We had to stitch the strips one by one to create the criss-cross effect, so a lot of work went into this dress but every minute was worth seeing how beautiful the end result was.
